Martha Stewart Living

Papa Ted's Place" is proud and honored to have received mention in the Christmas issue of Martha Stewart Living in 2005. I was flattered to be able to assist author Douglas Brenner in his research for the lovely article on the old Christmas houses entitled "Winter Wonderland" ( page 158.)

However, that is all I did.

I still get inquries about these sveral years later. Some people mistakenly think that the gorgeous pictures shown are of my houses and some even think they are for sale. This is simply not the case. I have no idea whose houses those are, or where the photographer found them. Author Brenner probably doesn't either. The photography and written text were two separate assignments, and it is quite likely that author and photographer have never met. That's how it's done in these modern, high-tech media days!

They certainly are a lovely bunch of old Christmas houses! Wouldn't you love to have them! So would I! You can bet that who ever owns them spent many years and many dollars assembling such a magnificent collection.
